A revamped interface makes Airfoil easier to use than ever!
Airfoil Speakers can now initiate a connection to Airfoil – with one click, you can receive audio on a remote machine.
Airfoil Speakers now offers remote control of some applications, enabling you to play, pause, skip forward, and skip back.
Airfoil Speakers also features a greatly improved interface, showing track titles, album art and other metadata when available!
Airfoil Video Player’s new Web mode allows you to watch video from sites like Hulu, Netflix, and more, while playing their audio remotely and in sync.
The updated Instant On component works better than ever to capture audio from running applications, as well as all System Audio.
Airfoil now sends track titles, artwork, and other metadata to Apple TV and Airfoil Speakers.
Audio from Google Chrome can now be transmitted by simply selecting Chrome as the source in Airfoil.
Airfoil now supports additional applications via remote control, from Airfoil Speakers as well as Apple and Keyspan remotes.
Airfoil Video Player’s interface has also been cleaned up and improved.
Airfoil will no longer incorrectly attempt to launch Airfoil Video Player from outside its own bundle.
A rare issue that could prevent some speakers from appearing in Airfoil’s window has been fixed.
Many other small issues have been fixed.
