• REQUIREMENTS

• Mac OS X 10.5.0 or later, or a Classic (White) Apple TV
• Mac: The free Rowmote Helper program, which may be downloaded at www.rowmote.com, must be running on the Mac to be controlled.
• Apple TV: Apple TV installation requires a USB keychain drive and following the multistep instructions found at www.rowmote.com. Please review these instructions, which include installing free third party software on your Apple TV, before purchasing!
• The portable device must be on the same wireless network (a computer-to-computer network works, too). If a firewall is enabled, Rowmote Helper must be allowed access (port 5842).   

Rowmote Pro is the only app you need to control your computer. Couple it with Apple’s free Remote app to turn your iPhone or iPod Touch into the ultimate controller for home stereo, mobile presentation, or casual video viewing.

What's new in Version 3.3
This version of Rowmote will require an update to Rowmote Helper on your Mac. You’ll be prompted automatically when connecting for the first time with the new version, and the download & install can be performed within Rowmote Helper itself.

[iPhone / iPod Touch]
• On the function keyboard, the F1 and F2 buttons are now replaced by brightness down / brightness up buttons
• Fixed for iOS 4.2, including a positioning bug of the keyboard toolbar
• Fixed a cosmetic bug when using the keyboard in Dark mode
• Fixed a cosmetic bug when running iOS 4.1 and later with the function keyboard active

[iPad]
• Fixed a bug in which the keyboard would pop up when switching between modes, even if you had previously hidden it
• Fixed a bug with right-click when using the full-screen trackpad on the iPad

[Universal]
• Added ‘Toggle Display Mirroring’ option to the Applications menu
• Improved VLC control: Tapping left/right now changes tracks or videos within a playlist, while pressing and holding left/right performs fast-forward and rewind. Fast forward and rewind are now more responsive in VLC, as well.
• Fixed snoozing and stopping alarms in Awaken
• Fixed using command-plus to enlarge type in Safari

[Rowmote Helper]
• Rowmote Helper now requires Mac OS X 10.5 or later. I’ll provide Mac OS X 10.4 support to existing users via the automatic updating mechanism; however, not all new features and fixes will be available on Mac OS X 10.4.
• Rowmote Helper is now a fully native 64-bit application.
